Installation for Microsoft Office Apps

According to the Microsoft Office Apps, such as Microsoft Word or Excel, you can either deploy the AHAU 260 add-in to every member of your organization or install it individually.

Personal Installation

If you have an active Microsoft account, you can install the AHAU 260 add-in directly from the store.

To go to the store and install the application in the app you want, you just have to open the Microsoft Office app where you would like to perform the installation and go to the “Insert” tab in the top bar (selected in the image to the right).

Now, click the “Add-ins” button. A pop-up window will open and you should click the “Store” tab.

Now, you will be presented with a search bar. Search for “AHAU 260” and you will find it available to install.

After you complete your installation, the button for the AHAU 260 app’s Linked Pane will be in the “Home” tab of the top bar, in the right.

When clicking the “Linked pane” button, sign in with your AHAU 260 account and the linked pane will be presented to you, just like it would in all other integrations.

Organizational Installation

We recommend that you manage the add-in for your Exchange Online organization via Centralized Deployment in the Microsoft 365 admin center. For more information, see Manage deployment of Microsoft 365 add-ins in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Before you begin, see Determine if Centralized Deployment of add-ins works for your Microsoft 365 organization.

Download the manifest file here.

  1. Sign in to Microsoft 365 for business with your work account.

  2. Select the app launcher icon in the upper-left, and choose “Admin”.
TIP: “Admin” appears only to Microsoft 365 admins.

  3. In the navigation menu, choose Settings > Integrated apps.

  4. Scroll down in the “Integrated apps” window. There will be some add-in management options. Click in “Upload custom apps” (see About the Microsoft 365 admin center).

  5. Choose “App type” according to the add-in you want to install (either for Microsoft 365 apps or Microsoft Teams).

  6. Then, you are able to select between uploading:

  • The manifest file (.xml) on your device: For this option, select “Browse” to locate the manifest file (.xml) that you want to use.

  • A URL for the manifest file: For this option, copy the URL to the field provided.

Download the manifest file here.

  1. After uploading either the .xml file or the URL, you will be able to select which Users in your organization should be able to use the add-in. The option are “Just you”, “Entire organization” and “Specific users/groups”.

  1. Now, in the Deployment phase, you just have to check and accept the permissions for the app to function correctly and it will be successfully deployed.
