Assignees / Watchers

Assignee

Displays who are an Assignee of the given Issue.

To assign a user to the issue click the 'Assignee' dropdown list and chose the user you want.

Watchers tab

Display a list of the users who are watching this issue. If the issue will be updated, those users will be notified.

Watch

Click this button to add yourself as watcher to the task.

Manually Add Watchers

Click the 'Add watcher' button at the Watchers panel.

A dialog box with a list of the project members will open. Select the users you want to assign and click 'Add'. To select several users, hold down Ctrl while selecting. Ctrl + Aselect all members.

Auto Add Watchers

If this option is enabled in the settings then the users of Redmine who are in the recipients of the converting email will be automatically added as watcher into creating task.
