AHAU 260 Concept

AHAU 260 is a contextual way of engagement with a project management software

 

Founded in 2011, Ahau Software identified a niche in the market of development of solutions and integrations for companies and governments using project management systems and office applications, allowing their customers to increase productivity.

Last year, a startup AHAU 260 was launched, which is successfully developing by attracting large organizations such as PepsiCo, European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction among others.

AHAU 260 is an enterprise solution that aggregates data from popular project management software (Redmine, Jira, Asana), associates it with business items (i.e. emails, files), integrates into your work environments to create end-to-end context states, allowing 100+ hours of working time saved annually per user.

Project management in the company 

With experience in project management, we discovered a problem that many companies face. Within the  same company, various project management tools can be used, such as Jira, Asana, Redmine and Easy  Projects, as well as workplace software such as Microsoft Outlook and Teams, Adobe Creative Cloud, Chrome and others. 

 

 

This leads to the fact that the data between the systems is not synchronized and there is no general vision of the project, especially if employees from different departments are involved in it, companies develop their own integrations to solve these problems. There is also no unified connection between digital objects during working on a task, which causes a chaotic situation in case of switching attention to another task.

Our solution 

We aggregate business data and integrate it into common software for everyday use. This way, the company can continue to use their favorite project management tools, but in addition receive a set of end-to-end integrations.

We integrate into the employee’s workspace and create end-to-end context states. This means that in one integration the user  will see objects associated with the current context (email, or task), which, in turn, were previously linked through a task in another integration and in a different context (website, or file).  

For example, the opens a website and links it to a task in Asana, while working in Microsoft Word and Outlook, also associating a document and, accordingly, an email with the same task. As a result, the email is linked to the document and website via task in Asana. And now, returning to the letter, task or website, the user will see the full working context - all these files, links, letters. This saves you time and creates an invisible network between your digital objects. 

In addition to this, the company will receive time spent tracking, analysis of employee performance and much more! 

For the software developing companies, we are preparing integrations with Visual Studio and other IDEs,  which allow us to evaluate the efficiency of the programmer's work on a task by analyzing his behavior in this IDE, in accordance with Git commits and a running timer. 

Architecture 

We synchronize data from project management systems to our repository and provide a complete solution for integrations - this allows you to unify and quickly develop integrations. 

Thanks to Nonagon, we received $ 10k in credits for AWS, therefore we use solutions as as technologies from Amazon Web Services such as AWS Amplify, AWS AppSync, Lambda. 

For the development of the front-end, we used React, TypeScript, Redux, in turn, the back-end is split into micro-services and they are developed in ASP.NET Core (C #), Python. 

We use Auth0 as the Identity Provider; it allowed us to simplify work with authorization. 

Enterprise SaaS development with limited resources in current conditions 

In the current environment, for development cloud-based software for enterprise, it is necessary to be competent in various technical areas such as back-end and front-end development, DevOps, API gateways, OAuth. 

In addition, if we create a product as a out of the box solution, then we need to deal with the financial and and legal side, such as licensing and agreements, payments, invoices, VAT. Moreover, these issues need to be resolved on the technical side - to integrate the payment system and invoice generation, to think over the accounting system for accounts and licenses. And of course, you need a website, marketing, SEO and other stuff. 

To successfully launch a product to the market, you need competent employees and possibly freelancers to solve specific tasks, their hourly rate is about € 40 - € 95 + / hour. 

If we calculate, then in total we will get an impressive budget, not less than € 200K for the start.  It is very important to understand if we have poor management or planning, this amount is very easy stretch up to half a million euros and more.
