Getting Started - Microsoft Office Apps
After installing the AHAU 260 add-in for the Microsoft Office applications - Installation for Microsoft Office Apps - you can easily access it and start using its functionalities.
Linked Pane
While in the “Home” tab, opening the linked pane, that will show up a few seconds after you open your files either in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Powerpoint, will let you access all the functionalities of the AHAU 260 app.
Tasks, Emails, Bookmarks, Contacts, Channels and Documents will be available to be linked and also accessed.
Common Actions
Convert to Activity
When using Microsoft Office Apps, the main funtionality of the app is “Convert to activity”. It consists exactly in converting the information you have in the file you opened into a task in our supported service providers.
Send to Activity
The “Send to activity” funtionality consists in sending the file you are working on as a message to a task in our supported service providers.
Link to Activity
By clicking in “Link to activity”, you will be linking the document you are working on to an already existing task in our supported service providers.
Other Features
Apart from the main actions of the app, there are also other features that can be used in the AHAU 260 app, such as the Checklists or the Timers functionalities.
These functionalities can be accessed in through the bar menu in the left side of the application, along with a Favourites pane, where you can see the tasks you set as your favourite.
